The Association of the Abductees’ Mothers monitored brutal cases of torture of abductees in Sana’a and Aden.
The Association said it received letters from the prisoners and abductees relating the terrible torture they have been exposed to, included sexual torture.
One of the abductees’ mothers, Umm Ahmed said, “Every time a detainee dies as a result of torture, as mothers, we are anxious that the victim is our son.”
The report on torture and crimes issued by the Association stated that there were 950 cases of torture, Sana’a came at the top of the list with 144 cases, Hodeidah governorate was second with 121 cases, followed by Ibb with 88 cases, Dhamar with 87 cases, Taiz governorate with 80 cases,
