Execution Orders by Houthi-controlled Court

A court under control of the Houthi militia sentenced Abd Al-Rahman Al-Shaibah and Esam Al-Tayeb to death for “collaborating” with Saudi Arabia on May 12, 2018. The court also charged Mohammed Al-Madhany and Ebrahim Hizam with “engaging with an armed gang and organization affiliated with Al-Qaeda”. Al-Madhany was sentenced to death, however Hizam was sentenced to 10 years in prison. Though the allegations were the same, the verdicts were different. The legitmate government considers verdicts issued under the Houthi-contolled legal system invalid.
