More than 100 displaced households couldn’t celebrate or enjoy Eid in al-Sha’ab camp in the interim capital of Aden. They are far from their homes, relatives, and neighborhoods. To add to that, as displaced people they lack the basic necessities of life. “It is really hot, we don’t have electricity or gas. We have nothing,” said Samira al-Harazi, a displaced woman. Gatherings are one of the manifestations of Eid in Yemen that the displaced people in the camp lack. “Eid is beautiful with our relatives, family, and home” said a displaced child, Qassam Moussa.
